In the military you'll have the chance to protect loved ones, and possible even to travel to space as an astronaut. You'll need to be in top physical condition and know how to fix a thing or two. Attention, soldier!

Office Building

Apply directly at Work Place, Newspaper or Computer.

Benefits

• You salute superior Sims and when you are Level 4 and above, Sims start saluting you.
• The Sim gets the Show Sim the Jet social, a new way of impressing a date.
• At Level 10 (astronaut) the social changes to 'Show Sim the Spaceship'.

2	Mess Hall Server	§44/hour base §100/hour pension §480 bonus	Mon Tue Wed Fri	7am-3pm	Mood Athletic (1-5)	Out of one mess into another! Swap out your biohazzard gear for a hairnet and give your troops their rations. Start hitting the weight bench so that you can flash your biceps for the lieutenant when he comes by for his mush - the military is always looking for in-shape individuals!
3	Grunt	§49/hour base §110/hour pension §528 bonus	Mon Tue Wed Fri	7am-3pm	Mood Athletic (2-6) Handiness (1-3)	Thanks to your hard work the military has found a new role for you. Head out to the training fields and give us fifty, grunt! We never know when the General will come by for inspections, so work hard, keep your uniform clean, and practice your parade drills!
4	Squad Leader	§94/hour base §150/hour pension §588 bonus	Mon Wed Fri	7am-2pm	Mood Athletic (3-7) Handiness (1-5) Boss	As a Squad Leader, you'll start drawing salutes from the underlings. It also means your superiors expect more out of you and your squad. Train hard, inspire the troops, and make sure your superiors know your name when promotion time comes around.
5	Flight Officer	§108/hour base §170/hour pension §1,128 bonus	Mon Wed Fri	7am-2pm	Mood Athletic (4-8) Handiness (3-6) Boss	Officer Status brings new stripes and new responsibilities. The mechanics down in the hangars will need you to know how to handle a wrench, whereas the brass up top still want you in tip-top shape. You just might be writing checks your body can't cash, Flight Officer
6	Wingman	§145/hour base §190/hour pension §1,296 bonus	Mon Wed Fri	7am-1pm	Mood Athletic (5-9) Handiness (4-7) Boss	Do your duty and the military will stand by you, but that's easier said than done. You have a loaner aircraft under your command that no average Sim can fly, and a superior officer that needs your support. Never, ever, leave your Wingman!
7	Fighter Pilot	§167/hour base §220/hour pension §1,740 bonus	Mon Wed Fri	7am-1pm	Mood Athletic (6-9) Handiness (5-8) Boss	The extensive training has paid off and you've been rewarded with a top-of-the-line jet, your name on its side, and your own Wingman to look after you. The military life is getting more exciting every day, but with that excitement comes danger and the unknown. Watch your six up there!
8	Squadron Leader	§192/hour base §250/hour pension §2,004 bonus	Mon Wed Fri	7am-1pm	Mood Athletic (7-10) Handiness (6-9) Boss	The entire squadron looks up to you, respects your judgment, and trusts you to bring them home safely. You've been promoted to Squadron Leader in the hopes that you'll continue this work, improve efficiency, and turn the men and women of Alpha Dingo Squadron into the best in the world!
9	Top Gun	§265/hour base §290/hour pension §2,304 bonus	Mon Wed Fri	7am-12pm	Mood Athletic (8-10) Handiness (7-10) Boss	You can execute the Immelman Turn and barrel roll better than any of the pilots in the squadron. In fact, there isn't a maneuver you cannot execute. The brass wants to bring you in as a Top Gun instructor to spread the knowledge, impress the public with demonstrations, and spread your wings for the good of the people.
10	Astronaut	§334/hour base §430/hour pension §3,180 bonus	Mon	7am-1pm	Mood Athletic (9-10) Handiness (8-10) Boss	Without peer, your Sim is in charge! The space race is on and you're the top contender. You're the best, the brightest, and the only Sim who can lead our great society to the unknown depths of space. Straps yourself in to the rocket and prepare for 25Gs of ripping fun. You're a hero!
